I’m Abigail, the artist behind Petronille Press. Thanks for visiting!
For over a decade, I’ve worked as an illustrator, creating art for the picture book, editorial and surface design markets. Petronille Press is an offshoot of my illustration work, an opportunity to create artwork rooted in the beauty of Catholicism. Petronille Press is named for St. Petronille, a young martyr of the early church. It’s also the name of a town in Québec, near the shrine of Sainte Anne de Beaupré (a place I love dearly).
Aside from work? I’m a Catholic convert, the very proud aunt of 11 and a native New Englander. I like bright hues, houseplants, mystery novels and all things vintage. I have a lot of favorite saints/blesseds/venerables (Thérèse, Maximilian Kolbe, Anne, Jerzy Popiełuszko, Edith Stein, Titus Brandsma, Maria Teresa Quevedo, etc., etc., etc).
